Gay Pride Celebration in San Francisco this past weekend. And yes, he's naked under that shower curtain dress.

Greg and I on his birthday.

My mom and I spent a day in the city dress shopping, and as a gift to her I promised to try on at least one traditional wedding dress. . .

Bella on the deck this afternoon. She had an annual exam with a new vet this morning - an extremely stressful event. Ever since her neck injury last year and the months we spent at various specialists and doctors trying to fix her she's become terrified of going to the vet. We liked the new place so much that we're going to start bringing her by to visit whenever we can to help her not be so afraid and get comfortable with the building and the people there. She got a clean bill of health though and weighs 109 pounds! Our little mini-dane!

I bought these flowers at a market in the Castro at around 7:40am last Friday while walking with Deanna to catch the train to work. The previous night's "happy hour" turned into a late night dancing thing and I had to stay overnight in the city in order to make it to work the next day. They started out as ugly closed buds and very slowly over the week opened up to the huge beautiful flowers you see here.

Special day

Greg and I finally have a wedding date! The ceremony will be held at the lovely and impressive San Francisco City Hall, with our mothers standing by as witnesses. We can't wait! The plan is for the ceremony to take place on Friday afternoon, followed by photos taken at various picturesque locations in the city, followed by dinner and drinks with friends, and wrapped up with a nice hotel stay. Then we'll be leaving Saturday morning with moms in tow for a mini-vacation. Amazingly enough, even though our moms are like best friends to each of us, they have never had a chance to meet. So we thought soaking up a little sun and some fun sightseeing together would be perfect. Greg and I are planning our honeymoon for the fall, and it looks as though we'll be going to Costa Rica and staying in what has to be the most interesting and luxurious house in the whole country! Visit www.lunatica.com to see the house. It just so happens my boss owns this house, and if we are luckily we'll be staying there for a week in paradise!

Edited to add that the special day will be August 6, 2004. I must be so excited I'm forgetting things!
