For some stupid reason I have been baking instead of crafting lately and it's not really working too well for reaching the 'get in shape' goal. And I don't have until the wedding in September anymore, now I have a work retreat in Cabo as early as May so I really need double my effort (and get out of the kitchen). But just try to resist baking a mini cake when you find the little cake pans at Daiso for just $1.50 each.

First attempt at this glaze-like icing stuff. These went the way of the jam sandwich cookies and were eaten by us but deemed not suitable for giving.



For once I have a real excuse for why I haven't posted in weeks. For the first time (known to me at least) someone I know in person that isn't related to me randomly found this space. And I'm not feeling very ok with that. In the spirit of trying to move past my embarrassment and wierd feelings here are some photos. Not sure how much I will post from now on, I am thinking of moving to some sort of just photos format at a different location.





But for now. . . the dogs are still big, the cat is still handsome, I finally made something after all these months of no crafting, I'm sharing a bit of the new tattoo work I got in December, and I settled on the white chocolate (I added milk chocolate chips too), cranberry, and macadamia nut cookies from the 12/06 Bon Appetit magazine to bring into my office this week.
